Government Resolution (05.02.2023. No. 181) approved the Regulation on the procedure for financing Presidential and named state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for undergraduate students of branches of foreign universities and non-state universities studying on the basis of joint educational programs of state universities and operating in the republic.

According to him:

Universities - annually, by October 15, calculate the number of students receiving scholarships and the amount of scholarships paid to them for the current academic year and submit a request to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation for the allocation of necessary funds from the budget;

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation - annually, by November 1, based on applications submitted by the organization, transfers funds spent on scholarship payments for the current academic year in full to their accounts.

For information, Presidential scholarships for undergraduate students of higher educational institutions are assigned and paid to final-year students of state, non-state and foreign higher educational institutions, including those who are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan studying only with excellent grades throughout their studies in joint educational programs.

Presidential scholarships are awarded and paid to one graduating student of each higher educational institution at the bachelor's level.
