   As is known, due to the development of mechanical engineering and other industries in Uzbekistan, many enterprises and organizations in our country are in high demand for specialists in mechanical engineering technology, architecture, information technology, and industrial programming (computer engineering).

  The Turin Polytechnic University (TPU) in Tashkent was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1106 dated April 27, 2009 and a tripartite agreement signed on January 10, 2009 with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC "Automosanoat" and the Turin Polytechnic University (Politecnico di Torino) of Italy to provide organizations and enterprises in the field of automotive, mechanical engineering, energy industry, and architecture with highly qualified specialists.

   The university has 18 faculties and a main research center for many large automotive and other enterprises, and 19 research centers and laboratories.

   The educational building of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent is four-story and is designed to accommodate more than 1,500 students. The educational building has 26 classrooms, 5 IT-rooms, 4 laboratories, 2 lecture halls, a 2-story information and resource center, a kitchen and a meeting room.

    The fact that the university's classrooms are equipped with modern necessary furniture and projectors creates an opportunity for teachers to conduct classes effectively. In addition, IT-houses are equipped with the most modern computer technologies and multimedia equipment.

  Specialized laboratories, equipped with modern technological equipment, measuring instruments, and machines, allow students to practically reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired during the lesson.

   The "Green" and "Blue" lecture halls of the university are designed for 200 seats each and are equipped with the latest educational furniture, projectors and multimedia sound systems.

     The Information Resource Center, designed for 250 students, has all the opportunities and conveniences for independent learning (books, magazines and journals in hard and soft versions, as well as 50 modern computers). The conference hall is designed for cultural events, large conferences and ceremonies with a capacity of 250 people.

  Currently, the university has the following faculties and departments:

  • Natural and mathematical sciences;
  • Management, Economics, and Humanities;
  • Automatic control and computer engineering;
  • Civil Engineering and Architecture;
  • Mechanical and aerospace engineering.

   The University prepares specialists in the following areas at the bachelor's and master's level:

Bachelor's degree

Mechanical engineering;

  • Automated control systems in information technology and industry;
  • Economic construction and architecture in industry;
  • Automotive engineering;
  • Industrial production technologies;
  • Software engineering;
  • Architecture and design;
  • Business management - Management;
  • Information and communication engineering;
  • Restoration and conservation of historical monuments;
  • Aerospace engineering;
  • Computer engineering;
  • Aviation engineering.

Master's:

  • Information and Communication Engineering (IT);
  • Restoration and conservation of cultural heritage objects (Architecture);
  • Business Administration (MBA). 

  Graduates of TTPU will receive bachelor's (BSc) and master's (MSc) degrees, simultaneously with 2 diplomas of Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) and a diploma of TTPU. That is, graduates will have a diploma of TTPU according to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a diploma of POLITO according to the legislation of the Italian Republic.

   The university's educational process will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the University of Turin in Italy and international standards, where highly qualified professors from Italy and local professors will teach students. Classes at the university are conducted entirely in English, in accordance with modern methodological directions. All conditions are created for students to acquire knowledge. A Wi-Fi network runs through the entire university, which is powered by the Internet. A diploma is issued that is valid in Uzbekistan and internationally.

   In this direction, students are primarily trained in modern information technologies and their application. In addition, they can acquire skills in C, C++, HTML, SASS, CSS, JAVA, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Python, PHP, React, and other programming languages.

     The dormitory of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent is a four-story building that provides all the necessary conditions for the residence of students from remote regions of our country and foreign countries. The rooms in the student dormitory are equipped with all the necessary equipment: washing machines, cooking stoves, microwave oven, dining room. Students spend their free time profitably. The dormitory also has a library and Wi-Fi points for students to enjoy their free time. There is also a separate dormitory located on the territory of the university, which has all the necessary conditions for the residence of foreign professors and teachers.

    Over the past 15 years, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent has been closely cooperating with leading higher education institutions and companies in Europe, America and Asia. To date, it has expanded cooperation with more than 80 universities and companies from 20 foreign countries. In cooperation with partners, joint educational projects, industrial cooperation, training and exchange programs are being carried out.
