Articles 11/04/2025 Procedure for expelling an "academically indebted student" who did not attend classes (according to the credit-modular system)

✅ 6 credits are allocated for 1 subject.

✅ 1 credit equals 30 hours.

✅ 6 credits for 1 subject equal 180 hours.

✅ 40% of 180 hours (72 hours) are allocated for classroom hours, while the remaining 60% (108 hours) are allocated for independent study.

➖If a student misses 1/4 of the 72 hours allocated for classroom time (i.e., 18 hours), they will not be allowed to take the final assessment.

▶️A student who is not allowed to take the final assessment is considered an academic debtor. The student with academic debt will be expelled from the course. In this way, a bachelor's degree student can remain at the higher education institution for up to 8 years.
