Senator Qobil Tursunov has sent a senatorial inquiry to Majid Karimov, director of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, over problems with registration for national certificate exams. The issue is being widely discussed on social media.
Seats are allocated to each region, and their number is limited. Even if the overall application period has not ended, once seats in a particular region are filled, other applicants from that region cannot register. In some areas this happened within a very short time.
The senator has also asked for a reasoned answer on steps to add extra seats, organize additional exams and widen exam coverage. Under the law, a reply to a senatorial inquiry must be given within ten days.
Earlier it was reported that a 50 percent fee discount for some teachers was not applied during additional registration. The Agency said discounts and payments are processed through the my.gov.uz portal and recommended contacting the portal's technical support service.
If you face problems registering, first check your details on my.gov.uz and, if needed, contact technical support. We will return to the topic when more details of the response become available.
