Distance learning will be abolished: distance and part-time education will now be implemented

Based on the Presidential Decree of May 5, 2025, the correspondence form of education is being gradually abolished, replaced by more flexible and modern forms of education - distance and part-time (part-time) education.

What is part-time education?

Part-time education is an optimized form of full-time education, which is especially convenient for employed citizens. In this system:

Quota limit for alternative education

One of the important aspects is that the quota allocated for alternative forms of education in universities should not exceed 50% of full-time admission.

For example: If 100 students are admitted to one program in full-time, a maximum of 50 applicants will be admitted to part-time or distance learning programs.

Changes also at the master's level

Now there is an opportunity to study at the master's level either remotely or in other alternative forms. Previously, this was done only in the daytime format.
