Modern research and 5D interactive laboratories have started operating at Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU). The opening ceremony took place within the framework of state scientific and technical programs at the university's Department of Electrical Supply.
The ceremony was attended by the university rector, academician S.M. Turobjonov, representatives of the Innovation Development Agency, vice-rectors, faculty deans and professors and teaching staff.
According to the source, the laboratories will support research and innovation, help apply results of fundamental studies in practice, and back young scientists and doctoral students. They are also expected to contribute to training highly qualified engineering specialists.
The 5D laboratory for the course «Fundamentals of electrical supply» stands out. According to the ministry, it is the only such laboratory in Central Asia and the CIS created for use in electrical supply education.
For students in energy and electrical supply programs, such laboratories make it possible to test theoretical knowledge through simulation. This may help them better understand the course material.
