Aerospace Technologies

What is taught in this field

In the Aerospace Technologies program, students learn how aircraft are built, how they operate, and which modern technologies are used in them. In the first years, the core subjects are mathematics, physics, engineering graphics, materials science and electrical engineering.

In later stages, students study aerodynamics, flight mechanics, the design of aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, automatic control systems, aviation electronics and computer modeling. Practical classes and laboratory work help them test theoretical knowledge in real conditions.

Who graduates become

Graduates become engineering specialists for the aviation and space sectors. They can work as design and test engineers for unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), aircraft maintenance specialists, specialists in avionics and automation systems, staff members of research institutes, or engineers at design bureaus.

Where you can work

In Uzbekistan, graduates can find jobs in the aviation sector, in organizations that use unmanned aircraft, including drone applications in agriculture, in aircraft maintenance enterprises, in research centers and in design organizations. Specialists may also be needed at foreign and joint ventures operating in the aerospace field.

Who this program suits
