Agricultural Engineering

The Agricultural Engineering programme focuses on the mechanization of agriculture and the application of machinery and modern technologies in farming. It is taught at Karshi State Technical University and Tashkent State Agrarian University.

What is taught in this programme

Students study core subjects such as mathematics, physics, engineering drawing and technical mechanics. In later stages they learn the design of agricultural machines, tractors and engines, irrigation and land reclamation systems, and equipment for sowing, soil cultivation and harvesting. Technological processes in production and the basics of maintenance and repair are also covered.
