Architecture

What is taught in this program

In the Architecture program, students learn to design buildings, urban environments and open spaces. In the first years, they study technical drawing, geometry and the basics of drawing. Later courses add architectural design, building structures, materials science, engineering systems and the fundamentals of urban planning. Students also explore historical architectural monuments and learn to compare modern and traditional design solutions.

Key skills include hand and computer drafting, 3D modeling, preparing design documentation and presenting projects. Practical classes and design projects develop creative thinking and the ability to work in a team.

Who the graduate becomes

Graduates can work as architects, designers, interior designers, urban planning specialists or authors of construction projects. They design residential, public and industrial buildings, organize interior spaces and supervise construction work. Most graduates start with junior positions in a design bureau or construction company and, as they gain experience, take on more responsible tasks.
