The Archival Studies programme teaches methods of collecting, organising, storing and using documents. Students study the history of Uzbekistan, the theory and practice of archival work, and the rules for preparing documents and record-keeping. The curriculum also covers the scientific description of archival records, the compilation of fonds and inventories, and the basics of electronic document circulation and digitisation.
