What is taught in this program

The Biology program is the study of living organisms: their structure, vital activity, development and interrelations. Students master core subjects such as botany, zoology, genetics, ecology, anatomy and physiology. Foundations of general chemistry, physics and soil science are also taught, as these sciences help deepen understanding of living nature.

Theoretical knowledge is combined with laboratory and field classes. Students learn to work with a microscope, collect, identify and study plants and animals, conduct experiments, analyze results and write scientific reports. Teaching methods of biology are studied separately at pedagogical universities.
