What is taught in this program

The Biomedical Engineering program combines engineering, medicine and biology. Students learn the fundamentals of mathematics, physics, electronics and programming, and also gain knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.

Core subjects include medical devices and instruments, medical imaging methods, processing of biological signals, biomaterials, biomechanics and metrology. In practical classes, students carry out laboratory experiments, become familiar with the structure of medical equipment and develop skills in its setup and calibration.
