Design: Landscape Design

What is taught in this program

Students in the Landscape Design program learn how to plan green areas, gardens, squares and urban spaces. Early courses include botany and plant knowledge, the study of soil and climate conditions, and the basics of art and composition. Later stages cover design drawing, computer graphics and modern design software. Students reinforce theory through practical classes, field work and design projects.

Who the graduate becomes

Graduates can work as landscape designers, project designers, or specialists in organizing gardens and parks. Their main task is to prepare a project that balances the appearance, function and ecological requirements of a site and to supervise its implementation. Many graduates choose to open their own design studio or work as specialists in large design organizations.
