What is taught in this field

The Cyber Law field studies legal relations in the digital environment and the legal aspects of crimes related to computers and the internet. Core subjects include criminal law and criminal procedure law, information technology law, personal data protection, and legal issues of electronic documents and electronic digital signatures. This field is taught at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Practical classes analyze real situations from investigation and court practice. Students learn how to collect and document digital evidence, assess unauthorized access to computer systems from a legal standpoint, and prepare legal documents.

Who the graduate becomes

Graduates can work in law enforcement bodies fighting cybercrime as investigators or inquiry officers, and as specialists in digital evidence. In the prosecution and court system, they can work as officials handling legal matters, as lawyers, or as legal advisors.
