Mining Electromechanics

What is taught in this program

In the Mining Electromechanics program, students learn the design, operating principles and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment used at mining enterprises. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of electrical engineering and electronics, electrical machines, electric drives, power supply systems, automation and control systems. Students also study mining machinery and equipment, extraction technologies for underground and open-pit mining, and industrial safety and occupational health rules.
