What is taught in this programme

In the Pediatric Nursing programme, future specialists acquire knowledge and skills in protecting children's health and providing nursing care. Core subjects include anatomy and physiology, microbiology, basics of pharmacology, propaedeutics of childhood diseases, first aid, hygiene and epidemiology.

Practical classes develop skills in caring for newborns and older children, correctly administering medicines, performing injections and other procedures, and communicating with children and their parents. Students also learn about vaccination and healthy nutrition.
