What is taught in this field

The Value Engineering and Real Estate Management program teaches how to determine the value of property, manage it effectively, and make economically sound decisions. Training is offered at the following institutions: Andijan State Technical Institute, Samarkand State Technical University, Tashkent State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Tashkent State Transport University.

Core subjects include economic theory, finance and accounting, the real estate market, fundamentals of property valuation, construction technology and drawing, legal foundations, cadastre and land relations, statistics, and management. Students study economic analysis of construction and infrastructure projects, cost optimization, and factors affecting property value. They also develop skills in preparing reports, working with data, and using computer software.

Graduates can work as qualified appraisers, real estate managers, project economists, or construction cost specialists. Their main tasks include accurately determining the market value of properties, assessing the efficiency of investment projects, and planning the use of assets.

Graduates may also hold analyst or expert positions on real estate matters in banks, insurance organizations, and public administration bodies.
