Production of Construction Materials, Articles and Structures

This programme trains specialists in the production of construction materials, articles and structures, which form the foundation of the construction industry. It is taught at Bukhara State Technical University, Fergana State Technical University, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Karakalpak State University and Tashkent State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

What is taught in this programme

Students study the composition, properties and production technology of construction materials. The curriculum includes the basics of mathematics, physics and chemistry, materials science, structural mechanics, binder technology, the production of concrete and reinforced concrete articles, ceramics, glass and other construction materials. Laboratory work develops skills in testing and quality control of materials. Computer-aided design and management of production processes are also an important part of the study plan.
