The Sport activity: basketball program is taught at 13 higher education institutions, for example: Andijan State University, Bukhara State University, Fergana State University, Gulistan State University, Namangan State University, Navoi State University, the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports, and the National University of Uzbekistan. Students study basketball techniques and tactics, training methodology and the basics of organizing competitions. The curriculum also includes anatomy, physiology, sports hygiene, sports psychology and the theory of physical education. Practical classes help develop ball-handling skills, offensive and defensive actions, and teamwork.

Who the graduate becomes

Graduates can work as basketball coaches, specialists managing training processes, assistant coaches of sports teams, or referees. They can also work as physical education teachers, heads of sports clubs, or specialists in sports organizations.
