Sport Activity: Water Polo

What is taught in this program

Students prepare for professional sports activity in water polo. The program combines sports theory and practice. Core subjects include human anatomy and physiology, sports hygiene, sports psychology, and the theory and methodology of swimming and water polo. Students study swimming technique, ball handling, and offensive and defensive tactics.

They also develop physical training skills, training planning, player development, and competition organization. Practical classes are held in the swimming pool, giving students hands-on experience in real conditions.

What graduates become

Graduates can work as water polo athletes, coaches, or sports instructors. They may also find their place as coaches working with young athletes, assistant coaches of a team, specialists in sports departments, or referees.
