What is taught in this program

Students in this program study the theoretical and practical foundations of competitive and recreational swimming. The main focus is on mastering swimming techniques, including freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke. Courses also cover human anatomy and physiology, the theory and methodology of sports training, sports hygiene, and the basics of monitoring athletes' health.

Students learn to create training plans, assess the physical preparation of athletes, follow water safety rules and acquire first aid skills. Pedagogy and psychology courses help develop the ability to work with young athletes.
