What is taught in this field

In the Water Supply Engineering Systems programme, students learn how to design, build and operate systems that deliver clean water to settlements and industrial enterprises, as well as how to collect and treat wastewater. Core subjects include hydraulics, hydrology, water supply and sewerage, water preparation and treatment technologies, pumping stations and hydraulic machinery, along with engineering drawing and design fundamentals.

Students also develop skills in performing engineering calculations, preparing technical documentation, using modern design software and carrying out laboratory experiments.
