What is taught in this program

Students of the Technological Education program study the basics of pedagogy and technical disciplines. The curriculum includes general pedagogy, psychology, didactics and teaching methodology, as well as technology, design, technical drawing, materials science, fundamentals of electrical engineering and information technologies.

Students also develop practical skills: working with various materials, designing and making objects, reading and preparing technical drawings, and using computer software. They are also trained to organize technology lessons in an engaging and safe way for pupils.

Who the graduate becomes

Graduates most often work as technology teachers in general secondary schools. They may also teach at vocational colleges, academic lyceums and other educational institutions.

In addition, graduates can work as methodologists in education centers, leaders of extracurricular clubs, or coaches in technical creativity.

The main workplaces for graduates in Uzbekistan are general secondary schools, academic lyceums, vocational education institutions and colleges within the higher education system. Opportunities also exist in children's creativity centers, technoparks and educational innovation projects.

Besides teaching, some graduates work in industrial enterprises on technical training, in training-production units, or prepare methodological materials for publishing houses.
