Students of Transport Vehicle Engineering study the design, operating principles and calculation fundamentals of cars, tractors, buses and other land transport vehicles. Core subjects include mathematics, physics, theoretical mechanics, materials science, the theory of internal combustion engines, transmission and chassis design, and electrical and electronic systems.

Design skills play an important role in the programme: students learn to work with computer-aided drafting and modelling software, methods of technical diagnostics and repair, and how to prepare technical documentation.
