The strength of a country and the greatness of a nation are closely linked to science and education. Therefore, large-scale work is being carried out in our country to comprehensively develop the education system, train qualified personnel, and bring the preschool education system to a new level based on advanced foreign experience.
In particular, in recent years, the number of kindergartens has increased 8 times, reaching 38 thousand, and the coverage has increased from 27% to 76%. The development of school education in our country has become a nationwide movement. Over the past seven years, construction and repair work has been carried out in more than 5 thousand schools. Second foreign language and vocational training for young people has been expanded. For the first time, inclusive education has been established in 530 schools.

This was stated at the hearing held by the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. First Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Sh.Karimov's report "On the results achieved in the system of preschool and school education and priority tasks for the future" was heard.

As noted in the report, in 2025, the number of general education schools with a new assessment system will be increased from 1,500 to 3,000, and new textbooks of 257 titles will be created. The number of second language schools will be increased to 420, vocational schools - to 400. The number of private schools will reach 700 and the number of students will reach 150,000.

Also, within the framework of the Investment Program, 120,943 students will be created through the construction of 26 new general education schools and the reconstruction of 320, as well as 32,905 students will be created through the transformation of 54 pedagogical colleges into general education schools.

A new specialized school will be established in 4 regions of the country, a specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi in 9 regions, a specialized school named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, and specialized schools for foreign languages.

As noted at the hearing, the number of general education schools with an inclusive education system based on the principle of "Education is equal for all" will be increased to 1,900. This system will also be implemented in 208 state preschool educational organizations. A system of selective recruitment of teaching staff for general education schools through a special platform will be established. The coverage of preschool education will be increased to 78 percent.
