When does admission start?

According to the author, under the current rules applications for the 2027 intake are accepted from 15 November 2026 to 15 February 2027. It is useful to note these dates when planning ahead.

Where are documents submitted?

Applicants apply to the territorial internal affairs body at their place of permanent residence. Documents for internal affairs employees and military servicemen are processed through their place of service.

Who can apply?

• holders of general secondary, secondary specialized or vocational education;
• citizens of Uzbekistan aged 17 to 25.

Those who turn 17 during the admission year and those who are 25 may also take part.

How is the selection organized?

Selection has three stages: a preliminary competition, a special professional competition and a final interview. Documents and health status are also checked. The special competition and the interview are held at the Academy in June and July.

Which subjects are tested?

The general direction includes an essay or presentation, a physical fitness test and a foreign language exam. The expert forensics direction includes a physical test, a mathematics test, and oral exams in chemistry and physics. The digital technologies direction includes a mathematics test and a theoretical and practical test in informatics and information technologies.

What does the final interview cover?

The interview consists of oral answers to 3 questions on law, the history of Uzbekistan and civic education. Only applicants who scored more than 50 percent of the maximum score in the special professional competition are invited to the interview.
