News 19/11/2024 Schoolchildren not to use mobile phones should be regulated by law - WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently called for a legal restriction on the use of mobile phones by school-age children. Studies show that prolonged screen time negatively affects children's ability to concentrate and weakens their mental health.

According to the WHO, social media and online games increase the risk of loneliness, depression, and cyberbullying in children. In addition, inappropriate use of phones and tablets can alienate children from social interactions and cause various psychological problems. Therefore, the WHO proposes the introduction of special legal restrictions for children.

Experts recommend that children's use of mobile devices should not exceed 2 hours a day.
