News 21/06/2025 Admission to non-state universities can be held twice a year

A draft government resolution "On Measures to Improve the Quality of Non-State Educational Services in the Republic" has been posted on the discussion portal.

According to it, it is proposed that non-state educational organizations carry out the admission process twice a year - by October 15 and by February 15.

In addition, the resolution also provides for the coordination of admission parameters with the Ministry.

The draft also includes:

- to carry out the admission, transfer of applicants, and final state attestation of graduates in accordance with the requirements established for state educational organizations;

- the presence of an information system in non-state educational organizations that manages educational, scientific, and administrative processes and controls the quality of education.

At the same time, it is established that a non-state educational organization is obliged to integrate its information system into the information systems for managing educational processes of the Ministry.

a) non-state educational organizations providing educational services on the basis of a valid license are required to have the necessary buildings and structures on the basis of ownership rights within 5 years from the date of entry into force of this additional license requirement.

In this case, this requirement does not apply to educational organizations whose activities are organized on the basis of decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

b) Students not included in the Higher Education Process Management Information System (HEMIS) and not registered are not allowed to receive a corresponding state-recognized document upon completion of their studies.
