On January 15, a solemn event dedicated to the commissioning of a new modern student dormitory with 400 seats was held at Karakalpak State University.

It was attended by the Chairman of the Committee of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Murat Atamuratov, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sarvarkhon Buzrukhonov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Bayram Utemuratov, representatives of the university staff, elders, professors and teachers, students and the media.

Speakers at the opening of the event said that under the leadership of the President of our country, all conditions are being created for the education of the younger generation, their social protection, their future development as harmoniously developed people, special attention is paid to the education sector, including the issue of providing students with dormitories, and sincerely congratulated everyone on the opening of the new building.

After that, the symbolic key of the newly built student dormitory was solemnly handed over to the rector of Karakalpak State University, academician Akhmed Reymov. During the event, the guests got acquainted with the living conditions and talked with students at the same table.

Participants became witnesses to the fact that the dormitory is equipped with household appliances such as furniture for students, modern electric furnaces, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, water heating equipment.

For information: more than 22 billion soums were allocated from the university's off-budgetary fund for the construction of this student home, which was completed by "ELLIKQALA MAXSUS QURILISH" LLC.
