Diplomat University

Diplomat University is a non-state (private) higher education institution in Tashkent city. It received its license on 20 December 2021 from the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Education Quality under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Instruction is conducted in Uzbek, Russian and English.

Note: the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (JIDU) has a similar name, but it is a separate state higher education institution and is not connected with this private university.

History

The university idea took shape in 2020 on the basis of the Diplomat International School, which opened in 2017. From 2021 the university moved to its practical stage. In February 2021, a draft government decree on organizing the activity of the non-state higher education organization ‘Diplomat university’ was put up for public discussion.
