The Tashkent Branch of I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas is a higher education institution that trains qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry. The branch is located in Tashkent at Do‘rmon yo‘li, 34, and its educational programs are implemented on the basis of programs adopted by the Russian State University of Oil and Gas.

History

The branch was established in 2007 by a Presidential decree. In 2017, the parent university was granted the status of a “National Research University”. Over these years, the branch has been operating with a focus on training personnel for the oil and gas sector.

Faculties and Programs

Bachelor’s programs (full-time study):

• 21.05.03 Geological Exploration Technology (5 years): geophysical methods of exploration, digital geoengineering tracks
• 21.03.01 Oil and Gas Engineering (4 years): drilling of oil and gas wells; gas and gas condensate production and operation of underground storage facilities
• 21.05.06 Oil and Gas Equipment and Technology (5 years): equipment for offshore and onshore oil and gas fields
• 38.03.02 Management (4 years): energy business management track
• Construction and repair of oil and gas pipelines; construction and repair of oil and gas pipelines and oil and gas storage facilities
