Oriental University

Oriental University is a non-state higher education institution in Tashkent that offers students a modern, internationally oriented education. The university holds a licence that grants the right to provide non-state educational services throughout Uzbekistan.

History

The university received licence No. 0022 on 25 May 2021 and has operated since then. A new licence document was uploaded to the website in February 2026. The university is included in the list of non-state higher education institutions holding a higher education licence.

Why choose us

Bachelor's students study at least 3 of the following languages over 4 years: Arabic, Turkish, Korean, Chinese, English, Persian, German and Japanese (these are languages studied, not the language of instruction). The university has a 2+2 joint programme with Seojong University (South Korea). Cooperation with Dongduk University (South Korea) moved to a new stage in July 2026. Dormitory accommodation, grants and scholarships are available for students from outside Tashkent. Document submission for the 2026–2027 academic year has begun, and admission to doctoral programmes has been announced.
