In January-December 2024, 35.9 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan went abroad for the purpose of study. This was reported by the Statistics Committee.

   It is noted that the largest number of Uzbeks chose Tajikistan, where 12.8 thousand citizens went to study. Next:

• Russian Federation: 8.6 thousand;
• Kyrgyz Republic: almost 4 thousand people;
• Turkey: 2.7 thousand people;
• Republic of Korea: 2.1 thousand people;
• Kazakhstan: 1.6 thousand people;
• Great Britain: 792 citizens chose.
• China: 767 people;
• USA: 576 people;
• 390 citizens have left for the United Arab Emirates to study.

A total of 1.6 thousand Uzbeks visited other countries.
