There are cases when some students studying in non-state universities in foreign countries and in our Republic were expelled due to untimely payment of tuition fees or other reasons. Can this category of students also transfer their studies to state universities?
For this, the student needs a transcript indicating the period of study (or academic certificate) and an order on expulsion from the student body. They can freely participate in the exams by attaching this document to their transfer application. There are no legal restrictions on this.
Also, the period for reinstatement of expelled students is determined as follows:
🔹 Up to 5 years - by order of the rector;
From 5 to 10 years - on the basis of a decision of the relevant ministry or agency;
🔹 More than 10 years - by decision of the interdepartmental commission.
This procedure is based on the regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 393 of June 20, 2017.
In conclusion, it can be said that even expelled students can transfer to state universities in the Republic.
