The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan exposed a large-scale official forgery at the Ishenali Arabaev Kyrgyz State University in Bishkek
The investigation revealed that the officially admitted foreign students practically not only did not attend classes, but also did not come to Kyrgyzstan at all.
59 students are active in the documents, but not in practice
According to the publication "24.kg," 59 foreign students who were officially considered students at the university were found not to have entered Kyrgyzstan.
Of these:
30 people are citizens of Uzbekistan.
20 people - citizens of Kazakhstan.
9 - citizens of Russia
All of them were expelled from the university.
Criminal case initiated
A criminal case has been initiated under the article "official forgery" of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigations are ongoing, and it is being determined which faculty or administrative staff of the university are involved in this violation.
Conclusion
This case of official forgery, discovered in Kyrgyzstan, once again demonstrated the need to strengthen control over the process of admitting foreign students. Although the authorities have not yet completed the inspections, strict measures are expected to be taken regarding violations at the university.
