What is taught in this program

Students learn the basic principles of the world economy and the trade, investment and financial relations between countries. Core subjects include economic theory, macroeconomics, international trade, international finance, the history of the world economy, statistics and economic mathematics, as well as the fundamentals of international law and foreign economic policy.

Foreign languages receive significant attention, since documents and analytical materials in this field are often prepared in English, Russian and other languages. Throughout the course, students develop skills in collecting and analyzing economic data, drawing conclusions, performing calculations with computer software, and working on practical projects.
