Finance and Financial Technologies

The programme trains specialists in finance, banking, taxation and financial technologies. It is taught at 20 higher education institutions, including: Andijan State Technical Institute; Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies; Bukhara State Technical University; Bukhara State University; Denov Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy; Fergana State Technical University; Fergana State University; Gulistan State University.

What is studied in this field

Students study core subjects such as money flows, the budget system, the tax system, banking and insurance, corporate finance and investment. Economic analysis, accounting and statistics also play an important role in the curriculum.

Students also develop digital skills: data processing, working with spreadsheets and analytical software, financial modelling, and the basics of payment systems and digital banking services. These skills are in demand in the modern financial sector.

Graduates can work as finance professionals in a range of roles, for example:
