Sociology

What is studied in this field

Sociology students examine how society is organized, how social groups and institutions work, and how relationships between people are formed. In the first years, they study the foundations of sociological theory, philosophy, history, psychology and economics. In later stages, they explore family and youth sociology, mass communication, political and legal sociology, and demography.
