Sports Activity: Equestrian Sport

What is taught in this program

In the Equestrian Sport program, students study the theoretical and practical foundations of sports activity. Core subjects include the theory and methodology of physical education, anatomy and physiology, sports psychology, sports hygiene and training theory. Practical classes develop skills in working with horses, horse riding, selecting proper equipment and saddles, and preparing for competitions.

Students also learn how to care for horses, monitor their health, and design training plans for different sports. Communication, teamwork and skills in coaching athletes are developed throughout the program. The program is taught at the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports.

Who will graduates become

Graduates can work as equestrian sport coaches, sports specialists, or methodologists in sports organizations.
