What is taught in this program

In the Veterinary Sanitary Expertise program, students learn how to assess the quality and safety of food products of animal origin. Core subjects include anatomy, physiology, pathological anatomy, microbiology, epizootology, parasitology, and food hygiene.

The curriculum covers veterinary and sanitary control of meat, milk, eggs, honey, and fish products, laboratory testing, prevention of zoonotic diseases, and knowledge of veterinary legislation and standards. Students strengthen their skills through practical classes and laboratory work.

What graduates become

Graduates become specialists in veterinary sanitary expertise. They may work in positions such as:

• veterinary and sanitary inspector;
