In this program, students will have the opportunity to study international laboratories, work with the best mentors, and work on their own scientific projects. Among all departments, Macquarie University's research field has high quality in international research rankings, research strategy, and leadership group.

Applicants applying for the International Research Training Program (iRTP) scholarship will also be considered for the International Macquarie Research Excellence (iMQRES) scholarship program. iRTP is funded by the Government of Australia and iMQRES Macquarie University.
