According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers (No. 322 of June 9, 2022), women with at least 5 years of work experience in their specialty, but without higher education, are admitted to state higher educational institutions on a paid-contract basis within the framework of separate admission parameters (a total of 500 quotas).
Women wishing to use this benefit must have a recommendation from the Committee for Family and Women.
To receive a recommendation, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Applicants with at least five years of work experience in their specialty, but without higher education, who have graduated from secondary specialized or vocational educational institutions, must submit an application to the District (City) Working Groups at their place of permanent residence or temporary registration by June 1 (inclusive) of the current year, provided they submit the following documents:
1. Copy of a passport or ID card.
2. Extract from the work record book (electronic work record book).
3. Diploma of secondary specialized or vocational education.
Applications and documents submitted by applicants are reviewed by district (city) Working Groups in the prescribed manner from June 1-7 and a conclusion is made on the issuance or refusal to issue a recommendation.
Based on the conclusion of the working group, on June 7-10, the heads of the district (city) departments of family and women's affairs will make a decision on recommending or refusing to recommend women, which will be submitted for consideration to the Committee for Family and Women.
Annually, from June 10 to 14, the decision submitted by the State Committee for Family and Women and the documents attached to it are reviewed, and an order of the Chairman of the Committee on the issuance or refusal of recommendations is issued, and by June 15, the recommendations are delivered to their recipients.
Reminder! The recommendation is valid for admission to a higher educational institution only once within three years from the date of its issuance.
Information about women who have received recommendations, indicating the areas corresponding to their work activities, is entered by the Committee for Family and Women into a special program of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation.
Competitions for women with recommendations are held in the general procedure within the framework of entrance examinations (testing, professional (creative) exam) for admission to the bachelor's degree programs of state higher educational institutions.
Based on the results of the entrance examinations, women who are not recommended for admission, but who have a recommendation that scored at least 30% of the maximum possible score, are recommended for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a paid-contract basis based on quotas allocated by the State Commission for Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of separate admission parameters (a total of 500 quotas) with strict observance of the sequence of scores.
Also, the recommendations of women who received recommendations in the 2022-2023 academic year, but were not recommended for admission to higher educational institutions, are valid for 2023-2024.
