President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation on improving the quality of music, physical education and military patriotism in schools. 

21% of music teachers in schools have secondary education. Some of them cannot play an instrument themselves. The reason is that there is no practical training system for music teachers, and cooperation with art schools has not been established in this regard. Graduates of cultural institutes are not accepted as teachers. 

Therefore, a number of measures are proposed to improve the quality of lessons in schools. In particular, the level of knowledge and professional skills of music culture teachers will be assessed and a training system will be established. In this direction, training manuals and a new procedure for assigning categories to teachers will be developed. 

Based on the positive experience of "Turan School Theater", amateur art groups "Iqtidor" are organized in schools. Music and art graduates of higher educational institutions are allowed to work in schools. It was noted that music and art schools in the regions should be attached to general education schools as base schools, and regular examinations should be held in order to discover talented students.
