Every year, on the occasion of "October 1 - Teacher and Mentor Day," all teachers working in their fields and passing on their rich knowledge and experience to the younger generation are surrounded by congratulations. Below, we will familiarize you with the benefits established for teachers in our country's legislation.

1. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 01.02.2024 No. ЗРУ-901, all pedagogical workers providing education and upbringing to children undergo a free medical examination on a permanent basis.

2. According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 01.02.2024 No. ZRU-901, teachers of state educational organizations are granted 56 days of extended annual paid leave.

3. In accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the duration of working time for teachers is set at a maximum of 36 hours per week.

4. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 823 dated September 30, 2019, bonuses have been established for school teachers from 10 to 40 percent, and for librarians and psychologists from 10 to 20 percent based on performance evaluation criteria.

5. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 562 dated 09.09.2021, winners of prestigious international olympiads working as teachers in educational institutions are paid a monthly bonus of 150 percent to their official salary, and winners of the republican stage of the main olympiads are paid a monthly bonus of 100 percent to their official salary.

6. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 30, 2019, No. 823, material assistance to employees of general education institutions is provided in the event of the death of the employee himself and close relatives (father, mother, spouse, child), serious illness, or damage from a natural disaster, up to the amount of two official salaries (teacher's tariff rate) during the calendar year.

7. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 11.05.2022 No. UP-134, teachers who have an internationally recognized national certificate in the subject they teach are paid a monthly additional bonus in the amount of 50 percent of their tariff rate.

8. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 562 dated 09.09.2021, the school that wins the "Best School for Teaching Foreign Languages" competition will receive half a billion soums.

9. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 638 dated 12.10.2021, teachers of inclusive classes are paid a bonus of up to 40 percent.

10. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 11, 2021 No. PP-4940, teachers teaching in remote areas are paid a bonus of up to 50 percent.

11. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 23, 2023, No. 120, pedagogical workers with 25 years or more of work experience in pedagogical activity and who have not more than 5 years remaining for retirement are not subject to mandatory certification.

12. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 29, 1994, No. 490, professors and teachers of the medical field are paid additional remuneration for performing treatment and diagnostic work.
