Articles 14/12/2024 HAS LITERATURE AWAKENED?! (or a poet who faced the truth)

The strength and power of each nation is determined by its potential and the literature of that nation. After all, as Abdullah Kahhar said, literature is really stronger than an atom.

A few years ago, our people still love the creators who praised the pain and suffering of the nation as enlighteners of the nation.

We still boast about Cho'lpon, Qodiriy, Behbudi, Avloniy, who strived for freedom. In the 19th century, a number of poets, such as Shavkat Rahmon, Rauf Parfi, Abdulla Arif, Ekin Vahidov, and Gafur Gulam, who followed in the footsteps of representatives of Jadidism and, like them, worked tirelessly for the future of the nation, and were true masters of the art of words, were in a sense masters of literature.

In recent years, literary critics have often talked about the fact that Uzbek literature has been dominated by light works, and about the irresponsibility of young people to the word. It was in recent years that the work of the young poet, who attracted everyone's attention with his poem "The Blue Wolf," caused a lot of discussions from many members of the public. On December 12 of this year, the next guest of the project "Poetry in Reading," organized by the Agency for Youth Affairs, was the promising young poet Najmiddin Ermatov, who participated in the poetic program "Song of the Kurbashis."

The event, organized at the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi, was filled with fans and intellectuals. The real fans of the young artist stood up and watched the event from beginning to end.The poet, who read courageous verses on the stage, had a burden on his shoulders. It was the burden of awakening the burdened nation. The poet boldly says:

"Your night is ruined, everyone has thrown stones

Your beks have found all your fortune

You've lost today, you've sold your tomorrow

Your guide light seems to have gone out..."

On the stage, the poet's love for the people, the nation, and the courageous spirit of the world's games called on everyone to wake up.This is how the poet expresses people who have forgotten their identity in the face of worldly concerns.

"The time given to us,

Suzmak came shallow.

We planted for freedom,

It was frosty all the time.

The tongue came out and

The narrow ring was good.

If that's how we live,

It's useless to live, my friend..."

The poet achieved his goal, in a way, by his sharp words, awakening the sleeping people and literature to face reality. We believe that the poet's voices, imbued with his feelings and from the heart, his tears flowing on the stage, did not go away in vain. The literature you've been waiting for, the literature I've been waiting for, the literature the nation has been waiting for...The staged poems were even more impressive in the performance of the talented actor Erkin Bozorov. The painting "Blue Wolf" by the artist Erkin Aral was drawn there and put up for auction. The painting was purchased by the young poetess Mehrinoz Abbasova for $1,000 and donated to the National Library. It is precisely from the high price of this painting that we can see the love for art in our people.
