It was announced that the teaching of the new subject will begin in all state educational institutions of the country starting from the next academic year. He emphasized that this initiative is being implemented as part of the UAE's long-term strategy to prepare the younger generation for the future technological world.

"Our goal is to explain to children not only the technical aspects of artificial intelligence, but also the ethical issues related to this technology. We want to analyze data, algorithms, applications for them, the impact of AI on social and everyday life, risks, and its impact," said Sheikh Mohammed.

According to Khaleej Times, UAE Minister of Education Sara bint Yusuf Al Amiri, in turn, noted that the new curriculum will cover key areas, including basic concepts of artificial intelligence, working with data and algorithms, application of software, ethical issues in the field of AI, practical application of technologies, innovations and AI-based design, artificial intelligence policy, and social initiatives related to technological development.

The Minister also promised to provide teachers with full methodological assistance. That is, they are provided with ready-made lesson plans, templates, assignments, and tools that can be adapted to various educational formats.

"Our responsibility is to prepare children for an era different from our time. "We must provide them with the skills necessary for the sustainable development and progress of the country in the coming decades," Sheikh Muhammad wrote in his address.

In 2024, the successor to the mayor of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, announced the introduction of teachers with skills in the field of artificial intelligence into the OAA school system.

At the same time, a comprehensive training program for teachers on the application of artificial intelligence and its practical capabilities has been launched. These measures are being implemented within the framework of the DUB.AI artificial intelligence development strategy.
