The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Improving the System of Attestation, Professional Certification, and Incentives for Teachers." This was announced by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova.

All subject teachers can participate in the tests

    According to the resolution, the list of candidates for a monthly bonus from the minister's fund will no longer be formed based on the recommendation of regional councils. All subject teachers can participate in the tests.

    Previously, preschool teachers could not claim a bonus, but now they can also participate in the tests and receive a bonus.

Procedure for additional payment

    The procedure for additional payment to pedagogical staff in the amount of 70 percent of the current tariff rates has also been approved. According to it, the additional payment will be given to teachers who participated in the qualification category test trials (at both stages), achieved (or retained) the highest and first qualification categories, and scored 86 points or higher.

    In addition, teachers who have a certificate of proficiency in a general education subject issued by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications are now exempt from the qualification test for the first stage of the next mandatory certification (specialized subject and professional standard).
