According to the Regulation "On the Fund of the Minister of Public Education," approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 425 of August 2, 2022, only qualified pedagogical personnel working in general secondary educational institutions of the ministry system could apply for the minister's allowance.

At the time of signing this resolution, the Agency for Preschool Education was a separate organization and did not belong to the structure of the Ministry.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-98 of July 2, 2024, the activities of the Preschool Education Agency were terminated, and the organizations in the organizational structure of the agency were transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

From now on, according to the Decree of the President "On additional measures to further improve the quality and effectiveness of preschool education", teachers of preschool educational organizations will also be able to receive a ministerial bonus.

For reference: The high probability of pedagogical staff of preschool educational organizations claiming a ministerial fee does not limit the opportunities of teachers working in general secondary education institutions. That is, when determining the minister's allowance, a separate quota may be allocated for teachers of preschool educational organizations.

As a result, this does not affect the quota of teachers working in general education institutions.

It should be recalled that the quota of teachers receiving monthly allowances from the Minister's Fund for 2024 is set at 1250. Of these, 1150 quotas were allocated for teachers of general education institutions and 100 quotas for teachers of specialized educational institutions.
