Last year, professional and creative exams were held in 53 of the 202 higher educational institutions of our country. For admission to higher education institutions, creative exams are held annually in the areas of fine arts and design, music education, physical culture, sports, acting, directing, journalism, choreography, architecture, and painting.

The work will be evaluated by a special commission formed by each direction and university. Each of the submitted creative exams:

• Accuracy of idea and execution;
• Technical skills;
• Physical indicators;
• Stage culture;
• The originality of the created work is evaluated based on criteria.

The number of mandatory subjects for creative examinations is limited, or the test may not be conducted at all. Creative exams will be held in July, before the start of test trials. Registration is carried out on the official website of the State Testing Center. The exact date, location, and routes are announced annually by the State Testing Center.

Based on the results, admission to the university is carried out on the basis of a state grant or contract. There is also an opportunity to appeal the results of the creative exam. It should be recalled that last year creative exams were canceled in 8 higher educational institutions.
