The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has submitted for discussion a draft government resolution "On Approving the Regulation for Certifying Production Training Instructors of Vocational Educational Institutions."

According to the draft:

Education instructors undergo certification in the specialty or field indicated on their diploma of higher or secondary specialized (vocational) education, recognition of informally and non-formally acquired skills and qualifications ("Recognition of Prior Learning"), certificates, as well as retraining course diplomas.

To undergo certification, education instructors typically apply between August 1 and October 1 directly through the Ministry's official website by registering in the electronic information system pedagog.edu.uz.

Scoring less than 55 points is considered failing the certification and unsuitable for the position of education instructor without a qualification category (except for teaching staff involved in extraordinary certification).

If an education instructor without a qualification category fails to pass the next mandatory certification, the employer has the right to terminate the employment contract due to insufficient qualifications as prescribed by labor legislation.

If the employer does not terminate the employment contract, the education instructor without a qualification category who failed the mandatory certification can undergo extraordinary certification up to two times. If the instructor fails both attempts at extraordinary certification, the employment contract is terminated due to insufficient qualifications.
